About the Artist:
A natural talent for drawing provided a solid foundation for the serious study of art after career and children were behind me. As my passion and ability to see like an artist grew, so did my skill level, and after almost 20 years of self-study, and now teaching, I have been able to enjoy the benefits of living in the art world here on the Treasure Coast.
I am on the faculty of the Vero Beach Museum of Art where I teach acrylic portraiture each semester, and give workshops in portraits in oil. Additionally I have ongoing painting classes at the Sebastian American Legion, Indian River Estates, and private classes.
I enjoy teaching and creating art in all subjects and methods of painting and sculpture, and ideas for new paintings come to me at the glimmer of sunlight on a tree, the passing of a cloud, or the smile on a child's face. Commissions, group classes and demonstrations are gladly accepted.
Art prices are set by artists and reflect their direct costs, overhead and talent.
All sales are between the artist and the buyer.
