About the Artist:
Paulette was born and raised in Philadelphia, and lived on the East Coast for most of her life. She moved from modeling to fashion design after finding that she loved to sketch. That work came easily, although Paulette had training in art for four years in her teens,sDancehe knew then that what she really wanted to be was an artist. Her designs caught the eye of a major retailer, and she spent the next 20 years in retail management rather than creating art.
In 2000 she started to sketch again, dabbling in silk painting and oil. In 2005 Paulette entered her first juried exhibition, Pacific Northwest Art Annual,University of Oregon. Her piece "Chrissie's Dance",was juried in and was on exhibition at Adell McMillan Gallery.
Paulette works with oil and dyes. Her work has been exhibited and sold in museums and commercial galleries throughout the United States.
